Kip Snowden currently serves as the VP of Sales at Joe Piper Incorporated. As the grandson of Joe and son of Ann, the Company has been a part of Kip’s life for decades. Prior to attending college, Kip’s first job at Joe Piper was in the warehouse stocking rolls as well as running the equipment in the converting department.
After graduating from Samford University in 2003, Kip spent 3 years selling commercial printing at American Printing Company. This experience allowed him to learn firsthand the challenges involved in trying to put ink on paper and move a job through a shop. Kip is a firm believer that experience is the best teacher!
In 2006, Kip came to work in the sales department at Joe Piper. After several years of learning more about the Company, Kip joined the leadership team in his current role of VP of Sales and a member of the Board of Directors.
In addition to his roles at Joe Piper Inc, Kip is involved in his community. He serves in the below positions:
- Mountain Brook Community Church: Local Mission Board
- Vestavia City School Foundation Board
- Vestavia Hills Youth Baseball Board
Kip’s true passion in life is his family. He has a beautiful wife Lisa and 3 kids, Sam (13), Luke (11), and Harper (8) as of 2018. Kip spends most of his free time coaching the kids' various youth sports teams. He played baseball in college so that is his favorite sport to coach, but he also enjoys coaching basketball, football and soccer.
