In 1986 Dan was one of the first three people to help start Joe Piper Converting department on Finley Avenue in Birmingham, AL. Dan says he attended the University of Joe Piper Inc. and at the ripe old age of 19, he started a journey that would change his life forever. During 12 years in the converting department, Dan worked on every shift and helped install & operated every piece of converting equipment that came through the door. In 1998 Dan was given the opportunity to join the sales department. Ralph & Dan handle Georgia, Florida, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi & the great state of Alabama.
Outside Joe Piper Inc. Dan’s life is centered around his family. Dan is married to Tammy Campbell who’s a receptionist at Joe Piper Inc. Together they have two daughters, two grandchildren, two chihuahua’s and the best damn son in-law in the world. Dan’s family have been a member of Kingwood Church of Christ for 25 years.
